LATimes - Rombauer has just emerged victorious in the 146th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore today, finishing ahead of Midnight Bourbon! Rombauer, owned by John and Diane Fradkin, trained by Mike McCarthy, and ridden by Flavien Prat, came charging on the outside to win the race by 3 1/2 lengths. "Means a lot to be here, participate on a day like this," McCarthy said after the race. "Happy for the Fradkins. Just goes to show you that small players in the game can be successful, as well."
