WashingtonPost - March Madness is finally here! And for the second consecutive year, the brackets for both the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments were revealed on the same night on Selection Sunday. Alabama, Houston, defending champion Kansas and Purdue earned the No. 1 seeds in the men’s tournament. Last year’s runner-up, North Carolina, was among the bubble teams who were not included. Meanwhile, defending champion and undefeated South Carolina, Indiana, Virginia Tech and Stanford earned the No. 1 seeds in the women’s tournament. The men’s round of 64 tips off Thursday, and the women’s round of 64 starts Friday; stay tuned!
