Little Red Lopez
A look back at Danny "Little Red" Lopez, a part Native American boxer whose rose from living in poverty on an Indian Reservation to become one of boxing's most exciting fighters in the 1970s. Lopez would subsist on a diet of sugar sandwiches and powdered eggs before turning to sport of boxing in his teenage years. His battles against Bobby Chacon, Mike Ayala, and Salvador Sanchez would reach legendary status among boxing fans.
